I'm very bad at this whole blog concept, aren't I? Maybe it's the complete lack of anything going on. Maybe it's all that's going on that I can't really write about because I know you read this and I really want to bitch about you. That would be second person you in the singular, not plural. If you're wondering if it's you I'm referring to, it's probably not because the you I mean--never thinks he/she/it might have done something wrong. Then or now. Never.

Damnit.

In happier moments... On Friday I went with Amy and Tina to have lunch at the American Girl Place Cafe on the occasion of Amy's 30th birthday! Naturally, Felicity had to come along:

Dave and went to the Paris (had to sit in the balcony of course!) on Friday night to see Paris Je T'Aime.

I think it was '05 when I read a brief piece in a French-American newspaper that this film was being made. A film comprised of 18 five minute "love" stories set in different neighborhoods in Paris. We loved it--admittedly we're Paris freaks and film fans, but the concept and the artists who signed up to take part would make it worth seeing in any case I think. Alexander Payne's contribution is a jewel, I'd pay the $11.00 again just to see that short alone. Run go see this movie--it will stick in your mind for days afterward as will "La Meme Histoire" sung by Feist or "We're All In The Dance" you get the song in French and in English. I can't decide which I like better. Apparently (so sayeth the internet) there are plans afoot to do the same type project in New York and also China. China? I'm sorry, China, but I really just don't see it.

I wonder if I will have any vacation time left after dealing with the family commitments of the summer. Dave's brother's wedding and my sister's wedding. To avoid hurting the feeelings of both our mothers I need to save days for the holidays as well. I fear there will be no Paris for Jenny in 2007. This could explain my crankiness. Or it could just be YOU.

OH--D&J, progress continues on your very own wedding sampler. It's the least I could do, how many years has it been since you two were married?
